The Second Congregational Church of Winchester

OUR COVENANT

adopted May 27, 2018

We are the Second Congregational Church of Winchester: the Little Church with the Big Heart. We welcome all in the spirit of hope and in the name of our host, Jesus Christ. We seek to support and uplift our community by creating a place of unconditional love regardless of who you are, where you come from, who you love, or how you love.

We are an inclusive and diverse community of faith, and we invite, welcome, and celebrate all people, including those of all races; ethnicities; ages; gender identities and expressions; sexual orientations; marital statuses; faith backgrounds; physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities; economic circumstances; and family configurations. All persons are invited to fully share and participate in the ministry, fellowship, worship, sacraments, responsibilities, leadership, and joys of our church family.

We believe that life is a gift and love is the point, and we encourage anyone and everyone to join us as we seek new ways to fulfill the promise of God’s love and share it with the world.

MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER

For over 15 years, 2CCW has sent a team to the American Cancer Society’s annual
MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER walk in Boston.
This year the walk will be held on Sun., Sept. 30.
Please click here to view our church’s Making Strides page.

T-Shirts for Autism

Some individuals with autism are obsessed with chewing on their shirts or ripping/tearing any shirts that have perceived imperfections in them. Some can go through a hundred or more shirts a year. For adults with limited income the cost can be unsustainable. In partnership with Autism Housing Pathways and Community4Each, we are collecting plain, tagless t-shirts (size adult L, XL, and XXL) to donate to autistic adults who need clothing. This is an ongoing, year-round mission of 2CCW; please add to the basket whenever you are able!

SECOND SATURDAY SUPPERS
have been suspended until further notice.
Thank you for your participation!
