Notice of Suspension of In-Person Worship
until further notice.

Zoom Worship is held weekly at 10:00 a.m.

In an effort to help our community stay healthy and safe, both within our congregation and out in the wider community, we have made the prayerful decision to suspend in-person worship services until further notice.

If you are not on the church email list and would like to join our online worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings, please email pastor@winchester2cc.org to receive the link to our Zoom meeting.

Pumpkin Patch 2020 Update

Sadly, we will not be able to hold our annual Pumpkin Patch this year. Unloading the truck and running the Patch does not allow for safe social distancing and other health-promoting measures.

As you know, our Patch is a fundraiser primarily for the Navajo Nation. We invite you to think back on years past and on the money you so generously donated as you decorated your homes, offices, and schools. We hope that you will then go to Adopt-a-Native-Elder and make a similar donation in support of our native siblings who have been particularly hurt by the Covid pandemic. Thank you.

We are already on the Pumpkin Patch Organization’s list for 2021, so we will see you then!

The Second Congregational Church of Winchester

adopted May 27, 2018

We are the Second Congregational Church of Winchester: the Little Church with the Big Heart. We welcome all in the spirit of hope and in the name of our host, Jesus Christ. We seek to support and uplift our community by creating a place of unconditional love regardless of who you are, where you come from, who you love, or how you love.

We are an inclusive and diverse community of faith, and we invite, welcome, and celebrate all people, including those of all races; ethnicities; ages; gender identities and expressions; sexual orientations; marital statuses; faith backgrounds; physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities; economic circumstances; and family configurations. All persons are invited to fully share and participate in the ministry, fellowship, worship, sacraments, responsibilities, leadership, and joys of our church family.

We believe that life is a gift and love is the point, and we encourage anyone and everyone to join us as we seek new ways to fulfill the promise of God’s love and share it with the world.
